Et Tu, Jason?

I was giving the Post-Dispatch a hard time about its lousy proofreading, but I just got a jolt.

 

Today's editorial is taken from the Washington Post, and mentions an "overdo" policy correction from the Trump administration.

 

I don't know if the Post got it right and the Dispatch changed it, or if this horrible proofreading is everywhere.

 

Jason Anders, editor of the Post, care to weigh in? 

 

In the meantime, I'm going back to the editorial to see if I can get beyond the first paragraph.

My sister and I were discussing newspaper typos, and joking about offering to proofread our respective dailies.

 

The very next day, in an article about providing mental health for people traumatized by a tornado, the heading on the secondary page read
