Learn from Their Experience

April 19, 2023

I read about a guy in Michigan who pretended to be a cop, and was pulling drivers over. Unfortunately, one of the drivers he pulled over was an off-duty cop.

I looked at the internet for more details, and found that he wasn’t the only person that has had that experience.

So I gotta wonder:

How many people are out there impersonating cops; and how many are going to get busted pulling over the real ones? (All of them, I hope.)

He's Protecting Their Innocence

April 19, 2023

In a truly breathtaking exhibition of cognitive dissonance,

the Missouri state legislator who doesn’t have a problem with 12-year-olds getting married

wants to protect people 18 and under from drag queen shows.

They Fall for It Every Time

April 16, 2023

States that had been collecting a lot of tax, and drafting their budgets depending on it, are experiencing shortfalls now that inflation and whatnot are cutting into the tax collections.

They have to know this stuff is temporary, but they fall for it every time. They make big splashy promises in order to look good, then come up short.

They should at least wait three years in order to see if the good times are a temporary trend or are here to stay. In the meantime, they could put some money aside for the bad times. THEN they could start making their ambitious budgets.

Maybe someday they’ll figure it out.
