When I drove by the high school on the first day of school,
I chose to believe that the police car parked next to the building was for
traffic control, not a bomb threat.
Last week a friend from another state posted on Facebook
that a boy took a gun to her daughter’s high school and fired shots into the
ceiling.
Sigh.
