Last week I read another article on good dietary habits. But
this one said to eat an ounce of chocolate in the morning.
Finally, a dietary
theory I can get behind!
I read the papers. I look around. I see things that are either annoying or goofy. I write about them. My sister suggested that I start a blog. (Thanks for liking my stuff, Julia.) So, in no particular order, here are my thoughts.

You can say that again. Now if they can only prove that caffeine makes a person younger.
Well, here you go.
From the You Docs:
When rodents with Alzheimer's symptoms were fed about 500 milligrams of caffeine a day -- about five cups of regular coffee -- not only did they do better on memory and thinking tests, but their brains also had a 50 percent reduction in beta amyloid protein, a compound that collects in your brain and tangles your ability to think.
This research confirmed what has been found in large studies of humans -- that six or more cups a day decreases the risk of memory loss or Alzheimer's by more than 40 percent.
They've also got a blurb saying that it can help decrease the risk of skin cancer.
So go crazy.
