I keep seeing cute Christmas dishes in the sale flyers:
Christmas trees, snowmen, holly, etc. But of course, I don’t want to store any
more stuff, so I don’t buy them.
So I’m hoping somebody will invent some holiday decals that
I can put on dishes for each holiday—tough enough to stand up to cutlery, but still
removable so that I can put one set on at Thanksgiving and another at Christmas,
etc. The patterns could change every year, so there would still be a guaranteed
market, even though the decals could be re-used if somebody wanted to.
The other thing I think would be useful would be a tiny humidifier
that would work in the car, so that if you drive a lot in winter with the heat
on, you won’t get dry sinuses and the resultant respiratory irritations that
they can bring.
OK, folks—get cracking!

Good ideas! You could settle for holiday
napkins - just cover each filled plate with one prior to serving. The little car humidifiers
could be attached to the vents and timed to mist every so often.
Ooh, great idea! I was thinking of plastic poinsettias or holly above the plates, but I like your idea WAY better. Less fuss. Thanks.
Do you know anybody who can invent the humidifiers? We may be on to something there.
Guess what? I found out last week that there actually are humidifiers that you can put in your car. Amazing what happens when you use the internet.
