The heads of tech companies like Meta (Facebook) and TikTok were in the hot seat yesterday for their failure to protect younger users from becoming victims of trafficking and cyberbullying. And they bear plenty of responsibility.
But there’s one part of the equation that’s getting overlooked.
Do you remember Nancy Regan’s campaign aimed at kids to “Just Say No” to drugs?
Well, I’d like to see a campaign aimed at parents saying, “Just Say No to Social Media.”
Will it be tough to deny your kids something that EVERYBODY is doing? Heck yeah. But it can be done; especially if parents decide to work together, and ban the drug en massse.
So, how about it? Can we get an ad producer in our corner?
