The Regional Convention and Sports Complex Authority in St. Louis has been pointing out for months that the Rams settlement could be making the city and county lots more money if it were invested wisely. City and county leaders, of course, are sitting on their hands and letting the investment interest float away.
It kind of felt good, actually, to hear that. I’m sure lots of you have had that experience at your jobs: You KNOW something would be better for the company, but nobody wants to listen. Then you feel ineffectual and dismissed as a mere underling, nobody to listen to.
Well, fret no more. It appears that even people with the clout to go with the common sense get ignored.
There’s nothing wrong with you; you’re actually playing in the big leagues. So go feel better about yourself.
