The song “Hey There, Delilah” is a favorite of a young cancer patient named Delilah. She’s 8, and has been undergoing treatment for 4 years.
When a social media influencer brought attention to her story, the leader of Plain White T’s, the group who recorded the song, came and visited Delilah in the hospital, and played his guitar and sang to her. She was thrilled.
The rest of the country, including yours truly, was moved to tears.
