Can we stop saying, “X—formerly known as Twitter”? To me it sounds like we’re enabling infantile behavior.
If people can’t figure out what X is—that’s Elon Musk’s problem.
I read the papers. I look around. I see things that are either annoying or goofy. I write about them. My sister suggested that I start a blog. (Thanks for liking my stuff, Julia.) So, in no particular order, here are my thoughts.

Actually, I used to feel the same way about Prince, when he changed his name to those symbols. Instead of making him come up with a definitive pronunciation, or referring to him as "the symbols guy", they would say, "The artist formerly known as Prince..." I thought, "If people don't know who he is, that's his lookout."
