In “And I was Worried About Textbooks Getting Hacked” (March 11, 2022), I said that the way education in Missouri was going, at some point literature would be considered dangerous. A minute ago, I happened across that post and compared it to the post where a Missouri school board voted to remove Black literature electives from the curriculum. (“She May Want to Take a Class, January 3, 2024)
I guess that prediction wasn’t so far-fetched, after all.
