Periodically, Texas has threatened to secede from the Union. I thought it would be a swell idea for them to elect Donald Trump as president.
Then the rest of the country could have sat back and watched what would happen. (You think you’ve seen it already, but trust me, it would have been worse.)
And people who still thought he was bee’s knees could have moved there and been happy.
And so would the rest of us have been.
