I took an early morning walk on a weekend, and I noticed that, in all the subdivisions I walked through, there was a total of four houses (including mine) that had newspapers.
“Wow,” I thought. “No wonder they keep pushing the online version. They’ve gotta pay somebody to deliver these 4 papers—is it worth anybody’s while?”
So, I feel like I’m kind of dragging them down financially by my insistence on having a real paper.
But if I didn’t get the hard copy, I’d never read the news; I’m not much of one for computers.
So, I wouldn’t be paying for a subscription, which would be bad for the paper; and I wouldn’t be getting any decent news, which would be bad for me.
So, until they stop the service entirely, I guess I’ll keep getting the paper delivered.
Sorry, newspaper people.
