The radio Bible dude did a segment on Katharina von Bora, Martin Luther’s wife. She was an amazing woman; according to the pastor, she was a revolutionary thinker about religion and society. Luther trusted her to run their estate, and she did it so well that they increased their holdings. She did all kinds of things, including making quality beer (if you need something non-religious to hold onto); too many to tell here, but she was quite a woman. I was fascinated.
