I was watching a WWII movie this morning, made in 1942, and the martial music kept blaring out. Although for years we were told that listening to loud rock music damaged people’s hearing in the 1960’s,
I concluded that the reason people listened to loud music in the 1960’s was that their hearing was damaged when they were kids, in the 1940’s movie theaters.
