It's a Dirty Job, but...

A while ago, I suggested that maybe the way to get President Trump to do the right thing by the country was for people to hold a demonstration and chant (as an example), “Environmentalists for Trump”, or whatever the cause was. He seems to be motivated by feeling the love.

 

After the recent Cabinet meeting, it looks like the editorial board of the Post-Dispatch has come to the same conclusion: The way to get Trump’s cooperation is through blatant flattery.

 

So, let’s start holding our noses and chanting.

 

 

Where Would Trump Move the Homeless? Wanna Guess?

In what may foreshadow an attempt to start taking over the country using the military, Donald Trump has said he will take control of the police in Washington, D.C., and will activate the National Guard across the city in order to combat crime.

 

 

The president has other items on his “Clean up Washington” agenda, including removing the homeless. The article I read said that it was unclear where they would go.

 

 

I’ll give you one guess as to where he’ll try to make them go.

 

 

As fond as he is of interment camps,  he may have the barbed wire ready to go.

 

 

RIP, Trust in the Government

Donald Trump got a jobs report that he didn’t like, and he fired the commissioner of labor statistics. He’s going to replace her with somebody who will tell him what he wants to hear, so he can feed the lies to the country.

 

It’s a move from the Dictator’s Playbook, but he’s not even pretending he’s not doing it, which is pretty bold.

 

If people had any trust left at all in the government, he’s just laid it to rest.
