The operators of the Loop Trolley are asking for $700,000
more dollars in order to get the third car operational; after which, they
assure us, they will make all the revenue that they claimed they would. (See “THAT
Explains It,” August 16, 2019)
The county is not jumping at the chance to bail them out. I
see that as progress.
