The Russian
Olympic skater accused of doping says that her grandfather’s medication entered
her system, and that’s why she tested positive.
As an excuse, it is somewhat less compelling than Bob Baffert’s contention that drugs entered his horse’s system when the horse ate urine-soaked hay that was contaminated with drugs from a human’s waste.
Maybe they should both step up their storytelling games.
