If I were an official of the mining company mentioned below,
I’d tread warily. Given that selenium can cause birth defects in livestock; and
given that some ranchers have extreme reactions to the wolves who prey on
their herds—
I wouldn’t want to be the
one blamed for messing up a rancher’s livelihood.
