The [Missouri] senate president has convened a working group to investigate
whether they should form a special committee on gun violence.
However: Now that the NCAA has
messed up the U of Missouri’s football agenda, no fewer than three proposals to
defy NCAA regulations, by allowing college athletes to get paid, have been
introduced by state legislators.
If you want legislative action,
tie your proposal to the good of sports. You have a much better chance of
getting a hearing.
