There is talk of building a
hyperloop from St. Louis to Kansas City. This fancy method of transportation would theoretically cut the 4-hour drive to a 30-minute commute. Naturally, building a hyperloop will be both experimental and expensive.
Other areas in the country are pursuing similar projects.
“This is an opportunity for us to
be a leader in transportation’s future,” says a Missouri legislator.
Think about it. How many times
has the first version of anything worked well?
Let’s let other places be first;
and after they’ve worked out the kinks, we can use the streamlined, functioning
version.
