Some
Republican lawmakers expressed shock and disavowed the rioting at the U.S.
Capitol yesterday, saying that this is not what democracy is about.
As of this writing (1:06 p.m. CST), only one Republican legislator has called for President Trump’s removal, after he encouraged the rioting.
As long as
they’re not being attacked by an angry mob, I guess they’re OK with him being
in office.
