I saw a picture on Facebook of
patriotic Americans bringing in metal to recycling facilities in WWII. Two of
the citizens were bringing in the metal headboards from their bed. It was a
testament to how Americans in WWII were willing to sacrifice for the greater good
of the country.
It was posted, with no sense of irony, by someone who vocally opposes the wearing of masks, and is spreading misinformation about COVID vaccines.
So: Sacrificing for America in the
past: Good.
Got it.
