The question about portraying global warming in movies made me think: Since movies really can influence mindsets, maybe movies could show why inflation is caused by lack of product and not necessarily by a politician.
“Boy, I could sure use a beer,” says a guy in a comedy. “I’ll get some,” says the host.
Host comes back with 2 beers, hands one to his buddy. Buddy polishes it off, and says, “Got another one?” “Yeah,” says the host, “but it’s my last one, and the store’s closed.” “Dang,” says the buddy. “I REALLY want that beer!” “Five bucks,” says the host. Buddy looks at him in disbelief. “Supply chain issues,” says the host. “The smaller the supply, the higher the price.”
I can see it now.
