I mentioned earlier that I really enjoyed the first two episodes of the new “Frasier.” He seemed to have grown as a person, and the writing was hilarious.
Now, though, I’ve seen the entire first season (mercifully short), and am disappointed that he still gets into the same cringe-worthy situations that he got into in the original show. The worst one was the one where he wants to be promoted to professor; but there were a couple of others, too, that I could have done without.
It's been renewed for a second season. I hope wiser counsels prevail with the writers.
