A Timely Question

Now that we’re clawing back the morning light after our descent into Daylight Saving Time, I ask again:

Why can’t we start DST at the end of April, the way we used to? That way we’re not plunged back into waking up in darkness, and it would be way less depressing—and possibly easier to adjust to.
