Another virus, another chance for
grocery stores to figure out how people can open the plastic bags in the produce
aisle without having to lick their fingers first—and then touching all the
produce to see which pieces are the best.
(If I were in charge, I would put
a bottle of hand sanitizer next to the plastic bags, with a sign saying, “Please
moisten your fingers with the sanitizer, then open the plastic bag.” Just in case anybody wants some ideas on how to go about it.)
