The city of Maryland Heights, MO
is protesting a tax assessment for flood control, saying that the method of calculating
the assessment is unclear, and that money previously handed over to the levee district
has been misused.
But that’s not the point of this
post.
The point is that I get to use
the phrase “Levee levy.”
