I just saw “Mission: Impossible—The End of the World, Part 27” or whatever it’s called.
I like action movies, and this one didn’t let me down. Lots of action, great special effects, some magnificent scenery—the works.
The thing is, when all’s said and done, everything that can be done with a car chase has been done. And who hasn’t had a fight with a villain on top of a moving train? So, we could have chopped 20 minutes off that bad boy—and I only mention that because, no matter what the owners try to tell you, theater seats are NOT comfortable.
But then scriptwriters would have actually had to think of something new to keep the movie interesting.
