I just read Lethal Agent, a novel by Kyle Mills for a Vince Flynn series. It was written in 2019 and deals with a foreign terrorist planning to cause a pandemic with a brand-new virus. It’s eerie how much it foreshadows COVID-19 in 2020.
There was also a TV show called “Travelers” that dealt with a pandemic (also filmed well before the advent of COVID-19). Again, it was eerie how well the writers predicted what would happen in the event of a pandemic.
Of course, they had the Spanish Flu as a guideline; and I’m sure that other such books and shows were developed pre-pandemic; but those are the 2 I’ve run across, and I was fascinated by how spot-on they were.
