I’ve been reading Kick Ass, a collection of columns by Carl Hiaasen from his days at the Miami Herald. The columns are from the late ’80s, dealing with corrupt politicians, greedy developers, and spineless legislators who cave to the NRA.
It’s amazing that you could read any one of them and swear he was talking about life today. So much for making progress.
